What the site is
The Mandir Yatra publishes travel and planning information about Hindu temples and pilgrimage routes in India: opening hours, aarti schedules, darshan categories and prices, transport, accommodation and practical advice. It is an independent guide. We are not affiliated with any temple, trust, government department, tour operator or booking agent, and we do not sell tickets, packages or accommodation.
Accuracy and changes
We verify timings and prices against official sources and our own checks, and each guide shows the month it was last verified. Temple authorities change schedules, quotas and fees without notice, especially around festivals. Always confirm with the temple trust or official portal before you travel. We are not responsible for losses arising from changes made by third parties or from reliance on information that has since changed. If you find an error, email info@themandiryatra.com and we will correct it.
Booking and payments
All darshan, pooja, helicopter and accommodation bookings described on this site are made directly with the relevant official body. We never take payment for bookings, and we do not act as an agent. Links to official portals are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for those sites or for transactions made on them.
Use of content
Text and original photographs on this site are the property of The Mandir Yatra unless credited otherwise. You may quote short extracts with a link to the source page. You may not reproduce whole guides, scrape the site, or republish our content commercially without written permission. Third-party images are used under their respective licences and credited in captions.
Advertising
The site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other networks. Advertisers do not influence our editorial content. We do not currently use affiliate links; if that changes, they will be clearly labelled.
Comments and contributions
Comments are moderated. We remove spam, abuse, advertising and anything unlawful. By posting you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your comment. If you send us corrections or photographs, you confirm you have the right to share them.
