What we publish

Guides to Hindu temples, pilgrimage routes and travel logistics in India. We do not publish news, opinion pieces, or religious instruction.

How information is verified

Temple timings, darshan categories, ticket prices and booking procedures are checked against the managing trust’s official website, official notices, or a direct visit before publishing. Each guide shows the month it was last verified. Guides are re-checked at least once every six months and before major festivals.

First-hand experience

Our writers have visited some of the temples we cover, not all. Where a guide draws on a visit, it says so in the text. Where it relies on official sources and recent pilgrim reports, it says that instead and does not claim personal experience.

Corrections

If you find an error, email info@themandiryatra.com with the page link. We aim to correct factual errors within 7 days and note the correction at the bottom of the post.

Advertising and independence

The Mandir Yatra may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Advertisers have no influence over what we write. We do not accept payment or free services from temples, tour operators, hotels or transport providers in exchange for coverage. Any affiliate link, if we ever use one, will be clearly labelled.

Images

Photographs are our own, or used under a Creative Commons licence with attribution in the caption, or licensed from a stock provider. We do not use images without permission.

Use of AI tools

We may use AI tools to help with research organisation and drafting. Every published guide is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a named human editor before it goes live.

Temple timings, rules and prices change without notice. Always confirm with the temple trust before travelling. The Mandir Yatra is not responsible for changes made by temple authorities.
